In 2009, Total Well-Being, in partnership with Mayo Clinic Health Solutions, made several enhancements that underscore Total Well-Being’s commitment to client satisfaction and service. These upgrades include the ability to have biometric data uploaded into the Health Assessment, the use of eligibility files to maintain current employee access to each client’s custom portal, and improvements to the online behavior change programs that allow for improved participant engagement.
In addition to these changes, the Mayo Clinic Health Assessment itself underwent a facelift in early August. The redesigned tool not only features enhanced graphics for a more pleasant visual experience but has also been designed to accommodate all levels of computer literacy. The next time you offer the Health Assessment to your population, you will see great improvements.
Other new features of the Mayo Clinic Health Assessment include:
Along with the new Health Assessment design is a new Risk Stratification Model that was developed by the Mayo team of physicians, epidemiologists, and health analytics experts. This new model moves beyond assigning individuals to a risk level based solely on number of risks and recognizes that all risks are not created equal. The new model more appropriately assigns an individual to a risk category (low, medium, or high) based on risk type, degree of risk, combination of risks and the presence of select diagnosed chronic conditions. In addition, special messaging is now displayed to pregnant women, as pregnancy commonly impacts biometrics such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight.
With all these changes comes reassurance that your team at Total Well-Being is always on the industry’s cutting edge and continues to place its priority on servicing clients and providing the best wellness solution for small to mid-sized companies.
